True Love Waits Rally

Reunion Arena   Dallas, Texas   June 26, 2004   www.StandTrue.org
We were asked to be a part of the statewide True Love Waits Rally at Reunion Arena. The rally was organized by a national organization called STAND. Other performers included Rebecca St. James, Grits, Stephen Baldwin, Kirk Cameron, Salvador, Dr. Richard Ross, 40 Days, and a few others.
We did an original 3 act play entitled
The Gift. The story begins with Jesus handing each person a small gold box and telling them they may not open it until they are married. Then, we focus on 2 couples, one who has sex and one who does not. It is about commitment, forgiveness, and redemption. With over 12,000 people in attendance, it was an amazing day as actors, believers, and ministers.

Artistic Blends invited us to be a part of their first annual Vaudville Night. We did Chair of NIS, Can't Stop Talking, and Two Knights in the first half and The Gift in the second. We performed along side musicians, singers, and magicians to create an evening appreciating local artists. We greatly enjoyed being a part of this event.

University of North Texas     October 28 , 2004
UNT hosted Boo Bash, a kid friendly and safe place to Trick-or-Treat. We did not perform, but instead had a booth called Best Bad Guy Laugh. Kids would come over and do their best bad guy impersination into our camera which was flashed onto a TV screen. Every child recieved a prize pack which included candy, toys, and evangelism tracts specifically designed for kids at Halloween. Our booth was one of the most popular of the evening.
Denton Arts and Jazz Festival
Denton, Texas May 1, 2005
Contact: 940-565-0931

We auditioned and were invited to perform at the 2005 Denton Arts and Jazz Festival. We performed on the Civic Center Stage. Though our crowd was small (due to being early in the afternoon and inside), we still had a great time. We performed Chair of Nis, It is Well, Can't Stop Talking, Faithful, Up to Me, Be Still, and Two Knights. We plan to return in 2006, hopefully to a larger crowd.
Pictures from this event are unavailable, but we do have video.
Merry Christmas Super-Mart

Artistic Blends Theatre   Fort Worth, Texas   December 11, 17, 18, 23 2004

Set in Super-Mart on December 24, we showed how employees deal with commercialism and family dysfunctions that come with every Holiday season. The message wa sa classic one, told in a new way, that was full of laughter, hope, and the gift of Love. This was perfect for the lost or unchurched because Artistic Blends is a secular coffee house and theatre that asked us to do a family friendly play, but we managed to slip in the true meaning of Christmas.
