Those wishing to audition must be at least 16 years of age and have been a believer for at least a year with consistent church attendance and discipleship.
Those younger than 16 are welcome to join, but it has proven difficult to incorporate them into all productions. As a compromise, we let them join and call on them as needed.
Reliable transportation, time management skills (coordinating rehearsals, deadlines, cast calls, and other commitments), and access to the internet (email) are required.
A formal invitation to join will be extended after open auditions. Once membership has been extended, the "new" team will attend a D+R+A+M+A workshop where members will unite spiritually and work on basic theatre skills and techniques. The workshop is mandatory. Membership will be revoked for failure to attend.
The ministry covers what it can when it can, but the personal expenses are the responsibility of the individual member.
To participate in an Act of Worship, members must: receive a role, meet the standards of the Code of Ethics, and attend rehearsals as required by the director. Failure to attend required rehearsals will result in the forfeiture of a role. Inconsistent attendance or lack of adequate preparation and participation can result in suspension from the team. |
