| 1) Click here to review our Eligibility requirements. 2) Contact the director at DisciplesRunningAroundMadlyActing@hotmail.com if you need more information. 3) In the evaluation of your auditon, we are looking for people who are open to direction, quick on their feet, able to make clear choices and follow through with them, and are relaxed in a theatre atmosphere. The director will hand you three scripts . You will have 15 minutes to prepare a cold read presentation of these scripts (not from memory). We are looking for creativity, believeability and a (mostly) accurate interpretation of the text. We compare the cold read with what you are capable of presenting with preparation, also just like to see what you are bringing to the team. 4) Paper work includes: contact form, testimony form, the Code of Ethics, and a background check consent form (all available on our Forms page). Letters of recommendation/ questionnaires will be given to you at audition. The audition process is incomplete until these completed letters have been received. 5) Once you have auditioned, the director will make the final decisions on membership and begin casting. New and returning members will receive a letter extending formal membership via email and snail mail. 6) A contract will be signed between the member and the ministry promising a commitment to the team. (The contract and membership will be up for renewal every year.) The contract is available on our Forms Page. 7) After contracts have been signed and all the proper paper work is on file, the rehearsal process begins! 8) Auditions are set by the Director, and every person interested in joining or retaining membership must audition. |
